2. Community Golf
Free golf every Friday in July and August (10.30am - 12.30pm) in Lammas Park. All ages and abilities welcome.
A free family navigation challenge. Monday 29 July, 10.30am at Staines Park, Tuesday 6 August, 10.30am at Long Lane Recreation Ground, Wednesday 14 August, 10.30am at Orchard Meadow Park, Thursday 22 August, 10.30am at Ashford Recreation Ground and Friday 30 August at Kenynton Recreation Ground.
4. Summer Art Open Day
Bring your children along and make summer-themed crafts. Saturday 27 July, 10am at Spelthorne Resource Centre. £1 per child and 50p for siblings. No need to book, just turn up!
5. Sports Week - a few spaces remaining!
Affordable for children aged 8 - 16, £10 per day. Monday 5 August to Friday 9 August.
6. Riverside Walks
Enjoy a beautiful afternoon at Penton Hook Island next to Staines riverside, watch the boats pass through one of our many locks or feed the swans! There are 7 guided walks and 8 cycle rides around Spelthorne with easy to follow instructions and maps.
7. Free Sports!
The Borough offers a real variety of sport facilities which are free to use. There are 6 tennis courts and you can see a full list of sports in our (page 26 - 27).
8. Spelthorne and Sunbury Leisure Centres
Facilities and activities to suit a range of ages at our leisure centres .
9. Picnic in the Park
With over 750 acres of parks and open spaces, why not grab a picnic, meet a friend and visit one of the borough parks .
10. Two Rivers Shopping Centre
Shops and food outlets galore! Plus a range of activities taking place at the sandpit every Monday 11am - 4pm
