Surrey Waste Local Plan

Residents can now have their say on the draft Surrey Waste Local plan

Residents can now have their say on the draft Surrey Waste Local plan, which provides the objectives, policies and proposed sites intended to guide the future of waste management facilities in Surrey until 2033.

There are many pressures on the use of land in Surrey - including the need for new homes and employment. The management of waste is also a pressure and it's really important that we think carefully about how and where we want waste to be managed in the future.

Surrey County Council are encouraging all residents to share their views. For more information visit the consultation by 7 February 2018.
