From the 23 April 2019 Dial A Pest (SDK Environmental Ltd) will be contracted to provide general pest control services for residents in domestic properties within Spelthorne.
This service is chargeable the cost of treatments for residents are:
Rats (up to three visits) | £44 |
Mice (up to three visits) | £69 |
Wasps (per nest) | £78 |
Fleas | £78 |
Cockroaches | £78 |
Bedbugs | £111 |
These charges are based on a 3 bedroom property.
To arrange for our contractor to contact you about your request, please fill in our online form or telephone our Customer Services department on 01784 451499. Please make sure you provide a current email address as well as a contact telephone number. Once your request has been received, your details will be passed on to the contractor who will aim to contact you within 24 hours or by one working day to arrange an appointment. This will normally be by telephone but may be by e-mail if they cannot contact you by phone.
Please note the waiting time for an appointment will vary, and is dependent on how busy they are.
The contractor will visit your property and undertake an initial survey. Where no evidence of a pest is found a call out charge of £35 will apply and no treatment will take place.
The Council offers a rebate on rats, mice, bedbugs, fleas or cockroaches for residents who receive certain means tested benefits, listed below (proof will be required)
If you are over 60 and in receipt of one of the above benefits, we will also give the £20 rebate for the treatment of a wasps. If you are disabled and in receipt of one of the above benefits, we will also give the £20 rebate for the treatment of a wasps.
You will need to pay the contractor directly and then apply for a refund of £20 for the cost of the treatment from he Council. To request a form please contact Environmental Health or fill in the online refund form.
