Annual Accounts Inspection Period

In June, we gave notice that this year, because of the potential impact of Covid-19 virus on local authorities' ability to have prepared their draft statement of accounts by the end of May, this statutory requirement was suspended for the accounts for 2019/20.  Instead, a new date of 31 August 2020 was established.  Accordingly, the Council published its draft Statement of Accounts 2019/20 on Friday, 28 August 2020.
