Boundary review

The Boundary Commission for England (BCE) has published revised proposals for new Parliamentary constituency boundaries.

The proposals include the expansion of the Spelthorne Parliamentary Constituency to include the Thorpe ward of Runnymede. (This is a change from the earlier proposal being that the Parliamentary area takes in the Chertsey St Ann's Ward of Runnymede). Please note that these proposals only affect the Parliamentary Constituency, they do not alter the boundaries of the Borough Council.

The documents include responses and representations from the initial proposals for new constituency boundaries, which were available for consultation for 12 weeks from 13 September 2016. A second consultation exercise was held in March 2017.

Progress on the consultation and the 2018 Boundary Review can be monitored by following @BCE2018 on Twitter. You can get involved in the conversation by re-tweeting or sharing content.

Further information can be found on the website and general enquiries can be emailed to information@boundarycommissionengland.gov.uk. You can also contact them on 020 7276 1102.
